The Missionary Cutter ELIDA sails with the intention to reach people who would never set a foot into a church with the gospel. We especially want to talk to people in German Baltic harbours during the summer.
Our ship is a former fishing-smack built in 1939. It finally took four years of tender restoration until we could set sail. At present we can lodge a bare dozen crew members sailing for Baltic harbours.
Members of different christian denominations belong to the team of Missionary Cutter ELIDA Inc. Work on ELIDA is done honoraryly - would you like to join us?
By the way, ELIDA is an common old nordic name for ships. It can mean "Precious Light". In Scandinavia there are even more ships belonging to the ELIDA - fleet.
Welcome on board!
